Cervelo Aspero - 2022, 56 cm

Cervelo Aspero - 2022, 56 cm

The Cervélo Áspero is the brand's dedicated gravel race bike — a fast, aggressive machine built to bring road-bike speed to mixed surfaces, complete with the TrailMixer fork that lets riders tune handling for 700c or 650b wheels. Cervélo, founded in 1995 in Canada, made its name engineering aerodynamic and lightweight frames for the WorldTour, and the Áspero applies that race-bred pedigree to the gravel category.

This 56cm example is a carbon frameset in a striking light-blue-to-white fade, built up with the premium Italian Campagnolo Ekar 1x13 mechanical groupset — a gravel-specific drivetrain prized for its wide-range 13-speed cassette and crisp shifting, here running a Campagnolo C13 chain and 170mm crank. Hydraulic Ekar disc brakes handle stopping, while a set of Campagnolo Shamal carbon wheels keeps the build light and stiff, wrapped in tubeless WTB Resolute 700x42c tires for grip and comfort on loose terrain. The cockpit pairs an Easton EC70 AX carbon handlebar with a 130mm PRO Vibe stem, and the frame runs 12mm thru-axles front and rear on a BBright bottom bracket shell. Pedals are not included.
