The Salsa Woodsmoke is a carbon hardtail built for backcountry trail riding and bikepacking. It is designed around wide plus tires and a convertible 29 or 27.5+ wheel platform. Salsa Cycles is a Minnesota brand with a long reputation for adventure, gravel, and expedition bikes.
This Large is built on a full carbon frame in a clean black and teal finish. It runs a SRAM GX 1x11 mechanical drivetrain paired with an SRAM X1 crankset for simple, reliable shifting. SRAM Level TL hydraulic disc brakes handle stopping on loose and technical terrain. The build rolls on carbon Bontrager Line Pro 40 wheels wrapped in grippy Teravail Kennebec 27.5 x 2.8 plus tires, set up tubeless ready. A RockShox Reverb dropper post with 150mm of travel adds on-the-fly saddle height control. Salsa house-brand bars and stem round out the cockpit. Pedals are not included.
