YT Capra - 2023, Large

YT Capra - 2023, Large

The YT Capra is the enduro workhorse of YT Industries' lineup — a 170mm-travel mixed-wheel (mullet) machine built to take big hits on steep, technical terrain while still pedaling efficiently to the top. YT Industries, the German direct-to-consumer brand founded in 2008, earned its reputation through World Cup downhill and enduro racing pedigree, and is known for delivering aggressive, high-value builds that punch well above their price point.

This build runs a mullet wheel setup — a 29-inch front for roll-over and grip, paired with a 27.5-inch rear for a playful, maneuverable feel — wrapped in aggressive Maxxis rubber, an Assegai up front and a Minion DHR II out back. Suspension duties are handled by a burly Fox 38 Performance fork with 170mm of travel matched to a Fox DHX Performance coil shock delivering 170mm at the rear, giving the bike a planted, bottomless feel on rough descents. Shifting comes from a reliable SRAM GX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain with a 32T X-SYNC 2 chainring, while SRAM Code R four-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power demanded by enduro riding. The build is rounded out with durable Crankbrothers Synthesis alloy wheels, a Renthal cockpit, an SDG saddle, and a long-travel Postman dropper post. Pedals are not included.
